Rules and expectations for participating in the CoogCasa community.
Be Respectful
Treat everyone with respect. No harassment, hate speech, discrimination, or personal attacks. Disagree constructively.
Stay On Topic
Use the appropriate channels for your discussions. Keep course talk in #course-reviews, career questions in #career-advice, etc.
No Spam or Self-Promotion
Don't spam messages, links, or promotions. Share resources that genuinely help students. No advertising without permission.
Protect Privacy
Don't share personal information about yourself or others. This includes real names, phone numbers, addresses, or screenshots of private conversations.
Academic Integrity
Don't share exam answers, facilitate cheating, or post copyrighted course materials. Helping each other study is encouraged — academic dishonesty is not.
Follow UH & Discord Policies
All members must comply with the University of Houston Student Code of Conduct and Discord's Terms of Service and Community Guidelines.
Report Issues
If you see rule violations, report them to moderators. Don't engage with trolls — use the report function and let mods handle it.
Have Fun
This is a community for students, by students. Share memes, celebrate wins, ask questions, and help each other out.
Enforcement
Violations may result in warnings, mutes, or bans at moderator discretion. Severe violations (harassment, threats, doxxing) result in immediate permanent bans.
